Dr. Anand Mohan Verma

Dr. Anand Mohan Verma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at MNNIT Allahabad, India. His research focuses on computational heterogeneous- and electro-catalysis, reaction mechanisms, thermodynamics/kinetics, microkinetic modeling, and advanced 2D materials. He is currently working on bio-oil/biofuel upgrading, water-gas shift reactions, CO₂ reduction, polyol oxidation through thermocatalytic/electrocatalytic means, and fluxional catalysts. Outside of academia, he enjoys writing stories and novels, as well as planting.

Dharmendra Kumar Yadav is currently pursuing a PhD in the Chemical Engineering Department at MNNIT Allahabad under the supervision of Dr. Anand Mohan Verma. His research focuses on the valorization of food waste biomass, integrating experimental and first-principle studies. Apart from academics, he is passionate about reading books, photography, farming, and bodybuilding.

I am Pranjal Sharma, a final-year undergraduate student at MNNIT, specializing in Chemical Engineering. My current research focuses on the efficient reduction of CO₂ to methane using Cu₄ catalysts. In my free time, I enjoy reading novels and listening to music.

I’m Rashmi Kumari, a final-year B.Tech. student in the Chemical Engineering Department at MNNIT Allahabad. I’m currently working on CO₂ reduction on copper-based materials. Outside academics, I enjoy reading, painting, listening to music, and exploring new scientific innovations. I’m eager to apply my knowledge and research expertise in sustainable process engineering, contributing to innovative solutions for a cleaner future. 

I am, Aniket Mohanty, a B.Tech. final year student in Chemical Engineering at MNNIT Allahabad. I have been working on machine learning methods to predict formation energies of graphene-doped catalyst surfaces. Currently, I am working as a Quant Analyst Intern at Futures First, focusing on optimizing trading strategies for futures of different commodities. Beyond academics and work, I enjoy trekking, dramatics, football, and problem-solving challenges.

I am Shreyansh Sinha, a final year B.Tech. student majoring in Chemical Engineering. I am from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. I have been working on machine learning methods to predict adsorption energies of CO2 on graphene-based catalyst structures. My hobbies include studying history and cultures.
